From November 6 to 13, 2017, the city of Tabatinga, located in the state of Amazonas, a triple border between Brazil, Colombia and Peru, will be the stage of a large Multinational Inter-agency Logistics Exercise, the AMAZONLOG.
The Exercise will be conducted by the Brazilian Army Logistic Command and will be attended by military troops from Colombia, United States of America and Peru, military observers from Friendly Nations, police forces, government agencies and departments, and Brazilian and foreign companies.
For eight days, troops and agencies in a limited tactical scenario based on the problems of the triple border region will test and develop collective logistical solutions, as well as evaluate the interoperability of their equipment, systems, and procedures. All this, through the standardization of processes in the campaign.
During the AMAZONLOG period, there will be a Joint, Multinational and Interagency Operation, under the following conditions:
– Operational planning and intelligence activities centered on the Combined Command;
– Logistic Support, based on a Multinational Logistics Base, Interagency, with operations throughout the area.
During the Logistics Exercise, the companies will have the opportunity to present their products and solutions and interact with a select audience of Brazilian and foreign guests, including decision makers.
